Yemen is experiencing the world’s largest humanitarian crisis, but this is happening virtually out of sight as its borders are largely closed off to international media. Humanitarian actors are there and see the desperate situation facing the population, first hand, every day.

Would people across the world be compelled to act if they could se what was happening with their own eyes?

So we sent in a team, and produced video - but not just any video. 360 video. The kind that places you as an actor in the scene, as if you were there. I encourage you to watch it, below:

Tuesday, December 19 marks 1,000 days since the beginning of the war in Yemen, a country which is now suffering from the largest humanitarian crisis in the world, with a near-famine and the largest cholera outbreak in modern history. The conduct of war by all parties to the conflict repeatedly violates international law by targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure. The IRC is calling for the renewal of an actionable peace process and to ensure adequate and safe access for primary humanitarian interventions.

The International Rescue Committee helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future.
